We genuinely care about the safety of our Care Workers. We’ll carry out a pre-service risk assessment before you even set foot in a Service User’s home. We also provide extensive training in occupational health and safety, to ensure you know how to provide services safely in order to prevent injury at work.
Your Service Coordinator will always be your first port of call. But in emergencies, you can call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and know that your call will be answered. Because we aim to operate over a wide area, we are considering improving how we communicate with our staff. We’re looking at the use of SMS, email and the web to communicate instantly with our Care Workers, meaning you don’t have to wait around for rosters (rota) and other crucial communications. You’ll have regular opportunities to get together with fellow Care Workers for forums and in-service training. And we’ll send you a monthly newsletter ‘Working Together’ so you can keep in touch with what’s going on in the organisation.
