TRAINING
The right training gives Care Workers, Service manager, field supervisors and Care coordinator’s the confidence to deal with any situation, and reassures service users that they’re getting the best support. Your career at Support Direct Ltd will begin with a thorough induction process. We also offer in-service training in supporting Service Users with specific conditions like dementia…., giving you the opportunity to develop your skills in specialised areas.
SAFETY
We genuinely care about the safety of our Care Workers, Service manager, field supervisors and Care coordinator’s. We’ll carry out a pre-service risk assessment before you even set foot in a Service User’s home. We also provide extensive training in occupational health and safety, to ensure you know how to provide services safely in order to prevent injury at work.
COMMUNICATION
Your Service Coordinator will always be your first port of call. But in emergencies, you can call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and know that your call will be answered.
We aim to operate over a wide area so we are considering improving how we communicate with our staff. We’re looking at the use of SMS, email and the web to communicate instantly with our Care staff, meaning you don’t have to wait around for rosters (rota) and other crucial communications.
You’ll have regular opportunities to get together with fellow Care Workers, Service manager, field supervisors and Care coordinator’s for forums and in-service training.
